Motor Mount Patterns:

          Notes:  Removing a press fit part from a motor shaft will frequently damage a motor. Since MAE3 and MAE156A are prototyping classes, there is a significant amount of assembling and un-assembling of parts, which is why press fits should be avoided. However, in industry press fits are used because they offer quicker assembly and cost savings.

        *  Note:  Be careful when screwing in the motor mount hex screws so that
        they do not go too far in and damage the motor windings or block the rotor
        from rotating! If your motor is not spinning this is one of the first things to check.
