Clock Project Overview
In this project each student will design a pendulum, fabricate a model clock mechanism, and analyze its timing. The objectives of the project are to develop skills that will be used in the robot project, including:
Learn shop fabrication and laser cutting skills
Use CAD for analysis and design
Fabricate mechanical device (clock)
Compare analytical prediction to experimental result of clock timing
Document analysis and design
End with a personalized and functioning model clock to take home

Each student creates their own personalized shape of the pendulum which results in each pendulum having its own timing.
